Plagiarism
The International Journal of Theory and Practice in Education is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing practices in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
All submitted manuscripts must be original and must not be under consideration or previously published elsewhere. To ensure originality, every manuscript will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin and/or iThenticate prior to the peer review process. The journal applies a maximum similarity index of less than 25%, excluding references, quotations, and standard methodological expressions.
Manuscripts that exceed the acceptable similarity threshold or contain any form of plagiarism including direct plagiarism, inappropriate paraphrasing, self-plagiarism, or redundant publication will be rejected. In cases where plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal will take necessary actions such as correction, retraction, or other measures, in full compliance with COPE procedures.
Authors bear full responsibility for the originality of their submissions and for ensuring that all sources are properly cited in accordance with ethical and academic standards.
