Indonesian Journal of Law Research (IJOLARES) is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal published by CV Tirta Pustaka Press. Established with its first publication on 30 March 2023, IJOLARES is committed to advancing scholarly discourse and disseminating rigorous legal research addressing contemporary legal developments at national, regional, and international levels. The journal is published biannually in March and September and uses English as its primary language of publication. IJOLARES is identified by E-ISSN 2988-375X and P-ISSN 3025-1540 and employs a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the academic quality, objectivity, and integrity of published manuscripts.
IJOLARES provides an academic platform for cross-border legal scholarship, particularly research concerning governance policies and civil rights law, with a particular interest in legal developments and challenges in developing and emerging countries. Its scope encompasses, but is not limited to, civil law, criminal law, procedural law, constitutional and administrative law, customary law, human rights law, law and society, governance of legal pluralism, and other contemporary issues in legal science. Through this broad interdisciplinary scope, IJOLARES seeks to facilitate critical, comparative, and evidence-based perspectives that contribute to the advancement of legal theory, policy, and practice.
In recognition of its commitment to scholarly quality and sound journal governance, IJOLARES has been awarded National Accreditation (SINTA 5). Based on the official Notification of New Accreditation Results for Scientific Journals, Period 3 of 2025, IJOLARES is accredited at Level 5 (SINTA 5), effective from Volume 2, Issue 1 (2024) through Volume 6, Issue 2 (2028). The journal is committed to continuously maintaining the quality of its scholarly publications, peer-review process, and editorial governance in accordance with the requirements of accredited scientific journals.
As an open-access journal, IJOLARES promotes broad and equitable access to scholarly knowledge while encouraging researchers, academics, legal practitioners, policymakers, and other stakeholders to contribute to and engage with contemporary legal scholarship. The journal therefore serves as a platform for rigorous and internationally oriented legal research that contributes meaningfully to the development of legal knowledge, governance, human rights, and justice.
IJOLARE New Template 2026. Since Volume 4, Number 2 2026, IJOLARES uses a new template from now on. It may be subject to modifications, therefore, please download it here each time you format a paper for submission. If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the guadlines or uses a different format, it will be rejected by the editorial team before being reviewed. The editorial team will only accept a manuscript that meets the specified formating requirements.
