Author Guidelines
Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:
A. General Requirements
Submission of manuscripts must be made through the ONLINE SUBMISSION menu. New authors must create an OJS account by registering as Author on the REGISTER menu, and if have ready account OJS, you can click LOGIN menu

Submissions are made after preparing the manuscript according to the minimum standards below. Please read and follow the manuscript minimum standards of the below.
Manuscript Minimum Standards
Before submitting the manuscript, please read and meet the minimum standard requirements of the manuscript below:
- Manuscripts submitted to this journal have not been previously published, or are not being considered in another journal. (Don't double submit).
- Manuscripts must use English, which is grammatically correct and in correct spelling.
- Manuscripts must contain novelty, show gap analysis and have a minimum number of references is 40 with 80% referring to the journal.
- Manuscripts must be prepared in template format and use reference management software, such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA style.
- The length of submitted paper is at least 4 pages and no more than 13 pages. Editors will be evaluated if the papers are needing more pages than 13 pages.
- Make sure that the manuscript is prepared using the manuscript template format. DOWNLOAD template format.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format. (Don't submit PDF files).
B. Manuscript Structure
STANDARD PAPERS. Manuscripts provided in A4 paper, 11 pt of Cambria, Line spacing of 1,15. List of Figure and Table located separately on the end of manuscipt. Original articles should not exceed 10000 words inclusive of all parts of the paper apart from online Supporting Information. To make it easier to adjust the font formatting, spacing, and margins, the author must use the template format. Click here for downloading the manuscript template.
The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:
Title Page
- A concise and informative title.
- Title maximum 12 words with Capital letters at the beginning of the word only (except conjunctions and Scientific Name), Cambria font, size 14pt, spacing before 12pt, after 0pt, line spacing single
- A list of author names, affiliation(s), Country, and e-mail addresses.
- The name, complete mailing address (including e-mail address) of the corresponding author.
- A running title not exceeding 100 characters.
- A word count of the entire paper broken down into summary, main text, acknowledgements, references, tables and figure legends.
Abstract. Write the abstract contents in English here. Follow type and letter size and paragraph format (10pt). Abstract is written in English. Writing the word Abstract using Cambria 10pt. The abstract consists of 150-250 words written in one paragraph, containing the essence of the manuscript containing background, research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
Keywords: Writing the word keyword using Cambria 10pt. Early keywords use capital letters. Each keyword is separated by a semi-colon (;)
Introduction. The Introduction section aims to provide the background of the problem, explain the urgency or significance of the research, present the research gap, and elaborate on the research questions, objectives, and, when relevant, the hypothesis. In the background section, the author should describe the phenomena or issues currently occurring in the field of study using actual data or factual evidence (such as statistics or findings from previous studies) within a global and/or local context. Summarize the results of relevant previous studies concisely. Indicate what has already been studied and what has not. Avoid excessive citation; include only the most relevant sources. It is also important to highlight the limitations of prior studies and explain why the current research is necessary. The research questions should be clearly implied through a concise and focused statement of the research objectives. The writing style should employ clear, concise, and objective academic language. Avoid personal opinions or unsupported claims, and ensure that each paragraph is well-structured (one paragraph should present one main idea). The length of the introduction is recommended to be between 10–15% of the total article length, with an average of approximately 800–1,200 words. The body paragraph uses the font type "Cambria" 11pt and is made in a 1,15 space with two-column.
Methods.The first paragraph describes the research methods used such as the type of research, research methods, tools and materials, research design. The second paragraph describes how the research works or procedures. The third paragraph describes the method of data collection and data analysis used.
Results and Discussions. State the results of experimental or modelling work, drawing attention to important details in tables and figures. Point out the importance of the results and place them in the context of previous studies and in relation to the application of the work.
Acknowledgements. If authors refer to themselves as recipients of assistance or funding, they should do so by their initials separated by points (e.g. I.J.E.V.S). Do not acknowledge Editors by name.
Conclusion
The main conclusions of the experimental work should be presented. The contribution of the work to the scientific community and its economic implications should be emphasized.
Citation and ReferencesCitation to work by three or more authors should be abbreviated with the use of et al. (e.g. Budiyono et al., 2010). Citation to work by one or two authors should always give the author names in full. Work with the same first author and date should be coded by letters, e.g. Thompson et al., 1991a,b. Citations should be listed in chronological order in the text and be separated by a semi-colon, e.g. Balmford and Gaston, 1999; Royle et al., 2007.
All references must include DOI (Digital Object Identifier) at the end of th references. If there is no DOI for any reference, author may provide its URL/direct accessible web link for verification purpose. References without DOI or internet link are not acceptable.
References. Expect a minimum number of references is 40 with 80% referring to the journal.
The references in the Reference list should be in alphabetical order with the journal name unabbreviated.

PROCEDURE OF SUBMISSION
Manuscript Submission
Manuscript submission in this journal proceeds totally online and the author will be guided stepwise by the journal system through uploading the manuscript file. The manuscript submitted should be in Word document format that can be edited for the double-blind peer-review purpose. First Please DOWNLOAD a manuscript template HERE.
Reviewing of manuscripts
Every submitted paper is independently reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers. Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. If two or more reviewers consider a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the authors within three months of the submission date.
Revision of manuscripts
Manuscripts sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. Revised manuscripts can be sent to editorial office through the Online Submission Interface (https://journal.tirtapustaka.com/index.php/ijesss). The revised manuscripts returned later than three months will be considered as new submissions.
After acceptance
Corresponding authors will receive an e-mail with a link to our online proofing system, allowing annotation and correction of proofs online. The environment is similar to MS Word: in addition to editing text, you can also comment on figures/tables and answer questions from the Copy Editor. It is important to ensure that all corrections are sent back to us in one communication. Please check carefully before replying, as inclusion of any subsequent corrections cannot be guaranteed. Proofreading is solely your responsibility.
